RIPPED FREAK PRE-WORKOUT 2.0 is a new and improved (and jacked-up!) version of our original RIPPED FREAK PRE-WORKOUT! The 2.0 formula contains more performance-boosting ingredients and higher dosages too!

RIPPED FREAK PRE-WORKOUT 2.0’s unique combination of ingredients takes a multifaceted approach to boosting energy, strength, mental focus and muscle pumps:
1. Energy, Endurance, Strength, Performance: The combination of vitamins, magnesium, beta-alanine, carnitine and caffeine works to boost energy levels, endurance and overall performance by way of multiple mechanisms of action.
2. Mental Focus & Intensity: The combination of L-tyrosine, caffeine, ginseng and olive leaf extract works to boost adrenaline and norepinephrine, which are key neurotransmitters that impact intensity and mental focus.
3. Muscle Pumps: The combination of vitamins B6, folate and B12 is shown to significantly increase nitric oxide (NO) and blood flow to working muscles. In addition, beta-alanine and ginseng can also support NO and muscle pumps!

RIPPED FREAK PRE-WORKOUT 2.0 contains all of the ingredients from the very popular original formula, in addition to:

Double the amount of vitamins C, D and B6
Double the amount of ginseng and olive leaf extract
Vitamin B12 and folic acid for enhanced blood flow and muscle pumps!
Magnesium for optimal muscle function
L-Carnitine for enhanced fat-burning and performance!

The Science Behind Ripped Freak Pre-Workout 2.0

TyroPure is an instantized form of L-tyrosine, which allows for maximum absorption from the small intestine to the bloodstream, so it can then be delivered to the brain. Tyrosine is an amino acid that’s involved in the production of neurotransmitters in the brain. In fact, it’s a precursor to norepinephrine, which is an excitatory neurotransmitter that has a major effect on mental focus and energy production. Research shows that tyrosine supplementation can help improve strength and endurance when combined with other compounds such as caffeine.

Caffeine has the ability to improve mental alertness, cognition, physical endurance and even max strength. Caffeine improves mental focus and alertness by blocking adenosine receptors in the brain and reducing the release of adenosine, which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter (the opposite of adrenaline). Caffeine’s mechanisms of action on fat loss are mediated through adenosine receptor blockade and inhibition of phosphodiesterase (PDE), which is an enzyme responsible for the breakdown of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). cAMP is a key secondary messenger involved in fat oxidation.

Although carnitine is well known for its fat-burning properties, it can also improve performance and recovery after intense exercise. Carnitine plays a key role in muscle glycogen metabolism, ATP production, muscle tissue repair and even free radical scavenging. Supplementation with carnitine before exercise can increase muscle glycogen storage and improve ATP production, which improves strength and delays fatigue.

Beta-alanine has the ability to buffer acidic waste product in muscle during intense exercise. When beta-alanine is used as a supplement, it’s taken up by your muscles, and together with histidine, is resynthesized into carnosine by an enzyme called carnosine synthetase. An increase in intramuscular carnosine levels can increase the buffering capacity of a muscle by up to 20 percent and result in a dramatic delay in muscle fatigue and considerable improvements in strength and endurance. Beta-alanine also increases nitric oxide (NO) by activating the NOS enzyme, which mediates an increase in vasodilation, blood flood and muscle pumps. In a nutshell, Beta-alanine ensures your muscles are primed for maximum performance, growth and recovery!

Panax ginseng amplifies the central nervous system (CNS), allowing for more energy and focus. Panax ginseng also has antioxidant and adaptogenic properties that also support improvements in cognitive focus and performance.

Oleuropein aglycone (OA), found in olive leaf, stimulates the release of norepinephrine and epinephrine (aka adrenaline). It’s this type of ingredient that really cranks up your intensity, energy and strength in the gym.

Vitamins B6, folic acid and B12 can support healthy nitric oxide (NO) production and blood flow. Some research suggests that supplementation with vitamins B6, folic acid and B12 can help reduce the concentration of homocysteine in the bloodstream. Homocysteine is a non-protein amino acid and excessive levels can impede healthy NO production and vascular blood flow.

Vitamin D plays an important role in an athlete’s training and performance. Suboptimal vitamin D status can cause illness, inflammation, muscle pain and weakness and reduced muscle performance. Vitamin D also plays a key role in hormone production and, more specifically, testosterone synthesis.

Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body, and it’s essential for optimal muscle function.
